WRITERS SESSIONS
Screenwriting Fundamentals
An introduction to the basics of screenwriting, including structure, formatting, and character development. Participants will learn the essential elements of a screenplay and how to craft compelling narratives for the screen.
Visual Storytelling Techniques
A session that emphasizes the importance of visual elements in storytelling. Participants will learn how to convey emotions and narrative through cinematography, shot composition, and visual motifs, enhancing the impact of their scripts.
Character Development
and Dialogue
A workshop focused on creating memorable characters and writing authentic dialogue. Participants will engage in exercises that explore character backstory, motivations, and how to write conversations that reveal character and advance the plot.
Visual Storytelling
Techniques
A session that emphasizes the importance of visual elements in storytelling. Participants will learn how to convey emotions and narrative through cinematography, shot composition, and visual motifs, enhancing the impact of their scripts.
Mastering
The Beat Sheet
This session will focus on collaboratively developing a beat sheet for the narrative, outlining the key plot points, character developments, and emotional beats that drive the story forward. Participants will work together to identify the major events, structure the acts, and ensure that the pacing and flow of the story are coherent and engaging. By the end of the session, the team aims to have a clear roadmap that guides the writing and production process, aligning everyone's vision for the project.

Pitch
This session will cover the art of pitching a film project. Participants will learn how to craft an effective pitch, present their ideas confidently, and respond to feedback. Mock pitch sessions can provide real-time practice and constructive critique.
